The Graybar Corporation was realizing the limitations and restrictions of an outdated messaging environment. Faced with organizational objectives of moving to a company-wide standard with Microsoft 2013 communications platform, Graybar decided it was time to take the first step and upgrade to Exchange 2013.

Oakwood worked with Graybar to assess their current environment and develop a roadmap to reach their goals. This included planning, design, and the implementation of a new multi-site messaging environment what would co-exist with an existing Exchange 2007 deployment and included a migration strategy for more than 7,500 globally dispersed users. This was a detailed process and was critical to meet current business objectives and deliver a solution that was robust, scalable, and highly available.
